Juicy beef sautéed with fresh broccoli florets and coated in a delicious savoury sauce. In this recipe sirloin steak is used but you could also use fillet steak. Serve with rice if desired.

Ingredients
- 450 g lean steak
- 400 g broccoli
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 lime, juice
- 200 ml beef stock
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp corn starch
- 10 g ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 chili
- 3 spring onion
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
Method

Cut the steak in small slices. Mix half of the soy sauce and half of the fresh lime juice in a bowl. Add the marinate to the beef and set aside.

Mix in a separate bowl the rest of the soy sauce, sugar, maizena and the rest of the lime juice and set aside. Cut and slice the garlic and ginger finely. Cut the spring onions and chili in rings, put in a bowl and set aside. Cut broccoli in small florets.

Heat up the wok and add the sunflower oil. Fry the beef on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Take the beef out of the wok and set aside. Add garlic, ginger, chili and spring onions and fry. Add the broccoli and leave to fry for 3-5 minutes.

Add the meat back to the wok and add the sauce. Mix thoroughly and leave to simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
