Below, I’ve compiled a list of restaurants that I’ve yet to visit but are on my radar! These recommendations come from gluten-free friends, family, and followers. It’s worth noting that I haven’t personally dined at these establishments yet, so I can’t comment on potential cross-contamination or their awareness of celiac disease. If you’ve dined at any of these restaurants or have another suggestion, feel free to share your experience in the comments!

  • Steakhouse Floor: the staff is knowledgeable about gluten-free options. This is a meat-centric restaurant where both the meat and sauces are gluten-free. Additionally, the fries are prepared in a separate fryer. Address: Voorstraat nº39, Brielle, the Netherlands.

  • Family: snackbar offering gluten free croquettes, “frikandellen”, chicken nuggets, “bitterballen” and chips. There is a dedicated gluten-free fryer. Address: Hossenbosdijk nº1, Vierpolders, the Netherlands.

I cannot guarantee that all restaurants listed above are 100% free of gluten. Always check with the restaurant for cross-contamination and whether there is an understanding for celiac disease sufferers.
