Delicious gluten-free low carb pizza dough. Fathead pizza dough is a low carb and keto dough that is made with mozzarella, cheese, egg, and some type of low carb flour, in this recipe we used almond flour.

- 250 g mozzarella, grated
- 45 g cream cheese
- 130 g almond flour
- 1 egg, large
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
Put the grated mozzarella and cream cheese in a microwave-proof bowl. Melt the mozzarella and cream cheese by placing the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove the bowl from the microwave, stir with a spatula and put in the microwave for another 30 seconds, so that the cheese is well melted and mixed.
Add the almond flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper and add into the cheese mixture.
Add the egg to the bowl and knead by hand for about 2 minutes.
Place the dough between two sheets of baking paper and roll the dough with a rolling pin to the desired shape and thickness. Remove the top sheet of baking paper and pierce the dough with a fork.
Place the sheet of baking paper with the dough on a baking trayand bake the pizza base for 8 minutes in the preheated oven.
Remove the pizza crust from the oven and top with tomato sauce, oregano and your favourite toppings.
Place the pizza back into the oven for another 5-8 minutes.
Some topping tips: spring onion, mushrooms, salami, ham, black olives and capers.
