Delicious salad with chickpeas, tuna and tomatoes. Perfect as lunch or side dish. This chickpea tuna salad is low carb, vegetarian and easy to prepare in only 10 minutes.

Chickpea tuna salad

Ingredients

  • 400 g canned chickpeas
  • 140 g tuna pieces in oil
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 100 g lamb's lettuce
  • 1 red onion
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • garden cress
  • salt
  • pepper

Method

  • 1)

    Drain the tuna and add to a salad bowl. Loosen the tuna with a fork.

  • 2)

    Drain the chickpeas, dice the red onion finely and quarter the cherry tomatoes. Wash the lettuce.

  • 3)

    Add the lettuce, chickpeas, tomatoes and red onion to the tuna and mix well. Season the salad with white wine vinegar, garden cress and salt and pepper.
