Leipzig is with a little over 600.000 inhabitants, the most populous city in the German state of Saxony. Leipzig has an extensive range of galleries, museums, and concert halls. The renaissance architecture and gothic churches make you feel like going back to medieval times. Some other top attractions to visit in Leipzig are the Leipzig Zoo and the Völkerschlachtdenkmal. Besides, the Leipzig train station is the largest in Europe. It’s a magnificent structure inside calls for one of the most beautiful stations in all of Germany.

Schnitzel Culture
Bar-Restaurant Schnitzel Culture offers its guests all possible variations around the schnitzel. The restaurant is an American style restaurant with factory elements and bright yellow leather sofas. Over 200 different schnitzel variations of pork, veal, turkey and tofu are offered in combination with local and international dishes. A special highlight is the so-called “Leipziger Latsch XXL,” which is served as a 300-gram schnitzel together with cauliflower and potato gratin.
There is a separate page on the menu with gluten-free options. The food is prepared separate and also the fries are fried in a dedicated fryer.
I ordered the Schnitzel 0815, schnitzel the most simple way, served with a quarter lemon, fries and coleslaw.
You will find Schnitzel Culture on Große Fleischergasse nº21, Leipzig, Germany.
Recommendations
Underneath I have listed some restaurants which I haven’t visited yet, but are on my list! I got these reco’s from gluten-free friends, family and followers. As I said – I have not tested these gastronomies myself (so far) and cannot say anything about how it looks here with a possible cross-contamination and whether there is an understanding for celiac disease sufferers. Please do not take it as recommendations, but only as additional options. If you’ve visited any of the restaurants, or if you have another tip, feel free to write me about it in the comments!
